He set the precedents of two terms in office.? Right
George Washington was one of our greatest presidents. He selected to great men as Sectetary of State, Thomas Jefferson, and Sectertary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. He was able to put down the Whiskey Rebellion, with the price of people being upset. After all his great deeds he said his Farwell Address, warning Americans to beware the political parties and alliances with other countries.
Yes indeed George Washington was a great president. He was against having different parties such as democrats and republican. And I agree that we should have listened to him. The only thing that I dislike about George Washington was he had slaves. But all in all he is possibly one of our greatest presidents yet.

A challenge he faced was the National Debt because people didn’t want to pay taxes.
George washington was a very good president because he was a good leader. The thing that separates him from other presidents it that he didn’t choose a political party. He helped win the War against Britain even though everyone wanted to give up.
Not only was Washington our first President,but he was also one of the best.Although he was a great President,he owned slaves.He couldv’e also become our first king if he wouldv’e liked.Before he was President he was our army’s general.He did his job exceptionally.
George Washington was a great leader, during the war and as our nations first president. What I don’t understand is why he retired after two terms, someone please explain why? The precedents he set were many, including by not serving a third term. He also put down a rebellion, how amazing is that!
Washington was a great president but the only downside to his presidency is that he had 200 slaves if he were to give them freedom he would have been the greatest president ever.

Mr. Washington also created a diverse cabinet, this was a good ides because he set the model for future presidents and future years. He set up the floor boards of what we now call the U.S.A. He is one if not the best president of the united States of America.
