Should The Star Spangled Banner continue to be the national anthem of the United States? Why or why not? What ideas should be expressed in the United States’ national anthem?

We think we should keep the Star-Spangled Banner because it is very important to our country and it would get people confused and angry that it changed without a vote from the citizens and it touches many peoples hearts for example the football player cried when the Star-Spangled Banner came on at he being of the game so we should keep the Star-Spangled Banner the same as it’s always has been.

I think the United States should have a more simple anthem so that little kids can sing it with no trouble. Like me, for example, I am a kid that can’t understand it or remember it. It is very difficult to understand. Plus, the lyrics are meant to be a poem.

The Star Stangled Banner should stay the same because it reminds every one how we earned this country. Also, it will thank all of the solders who fought for our country.

I think that the star spangle banner should because many poems are like songs and this song or poem is describing how our country got there freedom and how our flag was still up in the 1812 war c:

I think that we should keep the Star-Spangled Banner because history all ready made it and why change history. History is all ready made we can repeat history. Star Spangle Banner has a good theme and it is in football games. Star Spangle Banner was a poem from the battle of Baltimore. The creator of the poem that is now a song is Francis Scott Key. This is history wand we will not change it.

  7. Maricela Victorio says:

We should keep the Start Spangled Banner as our national anthem. It should be our national anthem because it has been in our history for many years. That is why the Star-Spangled Banner should be our national anthem.

  8. Timmy Turner Dinh says:

We should keep The Star-Spangled Banner as our national anthem because it is a historical song and everyone already knows it. Also, this song shows that America can withstand any force that tries to block our way, like when the British raided Fort McHenry and Francis Scott Key saw the flag still up on the fort and the British had lost the raid.

  9. Andrea Gonzales says:

We should keep the star spangle banner because it’s history. They didn’t turn it into a song for no reason. They turned the star spangle banner into a song so it could be our national anthem. Not so it can be used for hundreds of years and then be neglected. Also because the other songs people my not believe in the words their saying in the song.
